“Paradeisos” (Arts plastiques)
Parc de Clères
At Parc de Clères, the Paradeisos exhibition is a collection of works paying tribute to Jean Delacour’s legacy while addressing contemporary issues. From a young age, Delacour dreamed of living in a paradise where animals would not prey on one another or destroy surrounding vegetation. He dedicated his entire life to making that vision a reality.
This unique collection, curated by Caroline Desnoëttes, resonates with the park’s existing collections. The exhibition takes place both in the park and inside the Château de Clères.
Opening hours: From April to August, daily from 9:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; in September, daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Also at Parc de Clères: “Let’s Observe the Birds.”
This exhibition combines panels, augmented reality, and educational materials focusing on twenty common European birds, remarkable for their songs and behavior.
Learn how to become a budding ornithologist and explore the many connections between humans and birds throughout generations. It will make it easier to recognize them in the wild!

Fabien Merelle et Brice Maré (arts plastiques)
Centre d'Art Contemporain de la MATMUT
Ligne de Vie - Fabien Mérelle

Through a series of meticulous drawings and delicate sculptures, Fabien Mérelle invites you to follow the journey of his alter ego. Fabien Mérelle is known for his hyperrealistic, small-format drawings, often created in ink or watercolor.
The exhibition Ligne de vie (Lifeline) presents a sensitive and introspective body of work—an ode to humanity in its simplest and most profound form. Each drawing and sculpture tells a story—Mérelle’s own—but one that also resonates with our own memories, dreams, and deepest thoughts.
Brice Maré’s work is distinguished by a rigorous visual language, structured by abstract forms and influenced by the history of architecture and mathematics.
Born in Paris in 1986, Fabien Mérelle graduated from the École nationale supérieure des Arts de Bourges and the École des Arts de Rueil-Malmaison. He now lives and works in Tours. In 2005, an exchange program at the Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts in China allowed him to refine his ink techniques and explore new artistic approaches.
Winner of the Canson Prize in 2010, he has exhibited at prestigious institutions such as the Centre Pompidou and the contemporary art venue in Chaumont-sur-Loire. Fabien Mérelle is represented by several galleries: Lara Sedbon in Paris, Keteleer Gallery in Antwerp, and Edouard Malingue Gallery in Hong Kong.
On view until October 5.
Brice Maré

For Brice Maré, everything begins with drawing. Following an almost meditative process, he creates geometric patterns composed of lines, shapes, shadow play, and textures that gradually fill the blank page. In a second phase, the artist seeks to transpose the drawing into reality. Using simple materials and industrial techniques, Brice Maré constructs an entirely imagined space.
Integrated beneath the timber framework of the cart shed, the sketch is transformed into a micro-architecture—a kind of minimalist claustra that evokes architectural details of the art center itself.
On view until September 21.
This unique installation is presented in the charreterie (cart shed) of the Contemporary Art Center—a mysterious space where creativity and experimentation meet. Located within the center’s park, it offers artists a rare and inspiring opportunity to express themselves through site-specific installations, like an open-air laboratory.
“Gaïa est bleue comme une Orange” et “Les racines du monde” (arts plastiques
Abbaye de Fontaine-Guérard
Gaïa est bleue comme une orange.
Exhibition of textile works by Elodie Falgon and sculptures by Françoise Rosbach.
Passionate about Art Nouveau and drawn to fabrics, Elodie Falgon specialized in fashion design, print creation, stained glass, and interior decoration after earning her decorator’s diploma. Her time at Chanel revealed her talents and deepened her affection for the world of textiles, leading her to create mixed-media works combining painting, drawing, and fabric.
Inspired by the spirit of Klimt, she skillfully blends a variety of materials: printed or plain fabrics, lace, silks, embroidery, glass, beads, and metal—bringing to life scenes of undeniable poetry.
Elodie Falgon offers a sensitive and compassionate view of universal themes: love, beauty, nature, the floral and animal world, and the earth symbolized by Gaia, a feminine figure embodying peace.
Her works are hymns to women, motherhood, and love, celebrating the beauty of life and inviting us to harmonize with our beautiful planet, helping to create an energy field of peace and love in a world troubled by dark forces.

Working clay with great delicacy, Françoise Rosbach moves us with the elegance, finesse, and poetry of her works—some of which, through their patina, appear to be made of metal. Sensitive to current issues, she expresses her commitment to defending the innocent and just causes.
Open daily from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. until August 20.
Les racines du monde

Françoise Baron’s graphic works draw inspiration from myths, nature, and heroic fantasy, with the tree as a central symbol intertwined with femininity, dreams, and imagination. Her techniques—wash, pen, and brush—depict the profound relationship between humans and nature, blending artistic expression with philosophical reflection.
Pascal Girard, a painter and engraver for over forty years, explores the transformations of the natural world through engraving. The tree embodies the passage of time, life, and death. His practice, nourished by careful observation of natural elements, expresses a constant wonder at a fragile yet meaningful nature.
Open daily from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
