Some gardens, such as the Jardin RetrouvĂ© in Martainville, t Jardin des sculptures, Château de Bois-Guilbert, the park of the Château de Bois-Guilbert, and the park of the Daniel Havis Contemporary Art Center – Matmut for the Arts, are open all year round.

Others offer more unique experiences: the Jardin Agapanthe, for example, organizes nighttime visits for a truly sensory discovery, while the Jardin Plume features a nursery, allowing visitors to extend the experience beyond the garden itself.

2. Three unusual treasures

For, at least, 15 persons groups, Blainville Crevon village propose guided tours for his 3 treasures.

Ruines de château fort
Site médiéval de Blainville-Crevon

The oldest treasure refers to the exploration of the ruins of successive castles on the medieval site of Blainville-Crevon. Like peeling back layers of an ancient storybook, each stone reveals a chapter of history. Since 1977, this promontory has served as the stage for the Archeojazz festival—a place where echoes of the past blend with the rhythm of modern jazz, like time dancing to music across the ages.

Collégiale Saint-Michel

The second treasure is located in the Collegiate Church of Saint Michael, which is itself a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. It houses the sublime golden archangel, the patron saint of the building and protector of the Catholic Church in Normandy.

The third treasure to discover is the indescribable collection of art critic Anatole Jakovsky, housed in the 'La Sirène' museum. Everyday objects from the late 19th century to the 1980s, naïve art paintings, over 5,000 art books and lithographs. An unusual and moving journey through time.

5.  Ry's village tour

A grim incident left its mark on the village of Ry and is believed to have inspired Gustave Flaubert’s famous novel Madame Bovary. Muriel Vinet invites you to discover the 2024 French Favorite Village, with the novel serving as your guide. One of the village’s distinctive architectural highlights is the intricately carved wooden porch of Ry’s church, which overlooks both the village and the valley.
