Exhibition of sculptures and incense burners by Laurence Panadero
Exhibition and free tour of the abbey from 7 to 4 euros

Incense has accompanied mankind for millennia. It is the breath that connects ground to sky, stone to spirit. Following on from the installation at the Miami monastery, this new collection of incense burners at Fontaine-Guérard Abbey offers a meditation on our survival:
Guardians of the Earth. Behind the sculptures, incense is lit and smoke rises. It's not a ritual, it's a warning signal. These guardians watch over a fragile ecosystem, reminding us that protecting nature is our only prayer for the future.
Staying human. In the emptiness of these structures, air circulates freely. It's an invitation to consciousness: to remain human is to refuse indifference and protect what sustains us.
The Abbey. Here, within the walls of Fontaine-Guérard, time stands still. Cistercian architecture, simple and true, becomes the setting for these sentinels. The dialogue between ancient stone and ephemeral smoke underlines the urgency of preserving our passage on earth.
