"Véloroute des Thermes", new cycle route between Rouen and Forges-les-Eaux
- September 17, 2025
The "Véloroute des Thermes" cycling route allows riders to complete a loop around the Seine-Maritime region by bike. It connects Rouen (via the Veloscenic route) to Forges-les-Eaux (part of the Avenue Verte London–Paris), and runs mostly through the Normandie Caux Vexin area.
Of moderate difficulty, this cycle route follows a network of charming country roads and offers the chance to discover the villages of Quincampoix, La Vieux Rue, Morgny-la-Pommeraye (with a train station), Blainville-Crevon, Catenay, Boissay, and Rebets. It passes close to Héronchelles, crosses Bois-Héroult and then Bois-Guilbert, before leaving the area after Bosc-Edeline toward Rouvray-Catillon. A short detour through Buchy via Bosc-Roger-sur-Buchy allows for bike repairs.
This route, accessible to most cyclists and stretching a total of 54 km, offers beautiful stops in our picturesque villages, which are rich in services, accommodation, dining options, and sightseeing opportunities.
