Experience life close to the horses in a school for equestrian shows.

On Wednesday, August 16, 2025, we attended the performance of The Shepherdess and the Orchid at the Écurie des Vallées.

It was a perfect opportunity to tell you about this idyllic place, which is both a riding school and a choreographic dressage school open to everyone—adults and children aged 10 and up. A unique school in Normandy.

You can even stay in this timeless, secluded valley, entirely dedicated to the well-being of horses and ponies. The guesthouse Gîte des Marguerites is the perfect spot for a family getaway, right by the pool.

Another performance of the amateur show The Shepherdess and the Orchid, created by Sophie de Pas with her students in collaboration with the Caval Santé association (which supports people with cancer in practicing horseback riding), will take place on Sunday, July 20, 2025. A few seats are still available to enjoy this poetic moment, sure to enchant both young and old, with careful attention paid to every detail.
