Soirée musicale: avec et autour de Sophie Arnould (Malvina Vershaève)

Opening

  • on July 18, 2026 at 19h00 and at 20h30
An evening with Sophie Arnould, 18th-century courtesan and opera singer (played by Malvina Vershaève) and actors from La Compagnie "Il était une fois l'Histoire" Recital of 18th-century opera arias and popular songs dedicated to Sophie Arnould (1740-1802), the greatest singer of her time.

For twenty years at the Opéra, thirty at the Court, Sophie Arnould personified all the heroines of the operatic repertoire. She held the Salon, and her puns enchanted the whole of Paris. People fight over her. Her life was full of noise and glory.
This diva lived like a shooting star who lit up the Age of Enlightenment.
Humor is an integral part of the show, with actors in period costume evoking her famous puns. A plunge into the heart of the 18th century, with popular songs that were very much in vogue at the time, and that have lulled and continue to lull the imaginations of young and old alike, such as "Plaisir d'amour".

Optional dinner at La Cascade from 7 p.m
