Blainville-Crevon medieval site
Since 1967, a large number of enthusiastic volunteers have unearthed, protected and brought back to life the ruins of a stronghold steeped in a thousand years of history located in the verdant Crevon valley. The lower parts are well preserved.
Have a look at the 11th century motte on which five castles were successively built between the 12th and the 18th centuries, the beautiful staircase and 14th century underground cellars, and some 15th century towers and rooms.
These ruins have been the setting for the famous Archéo Jazz Festival, which takes place every year in June, since 1977.
Open to groups all year round upon reservationFor individual visitors: open for guided tours at 2.30 pm on 13th May, 22nd July and 19th August 2017.
Open on the Heritage Open Days (3rd weekend of September).
